Although not specifically designed for educational use, we’ve seen professors present new ideas or class assignments, students complete school projects and librarians summarize books with Scrapblog. Some academics have written about using Scrapblog for education and for libraries, and we’ve received word that Scrapblog will be presented in upcoming conferences on technologies for education.
For instance, Ewan McIntosh, who advises on using social media for public service and education management, pointed out how animator Oscar Stringer presented his craft in a scrapblog. Also, Kathy Shrock, who regularly lectures on the use of technology to support education, presented Scrapblog at the NECC 2007 in June and more recently at the Adobe Education Leadership camp (via Brenda Frisk). And professors Randy Rodgers, Nicolas Hughes, Miguel Guhlin and Toni Twiss are considering ways to use Scrapblog in the classroom. As the school year approaches, we’ll look at how Scrapblog is being used in education and will be open to ideas and suggestions on requested features.
I will be hosting a session at Tappedin.org on August 25 at 7 PM EDT on using Scrapblog. Tappedin is an international community of educators.

Thank you, Midge. Please let me know if you have any questions before or after hosting the session, I’d like to know the reaction and feedback of your colleagues.
Sorry, my mistake! Long day. Session is August 28.
