November 28, 2008 | In: The Friday Five | By Meg

Hello Scrapbloggers!  It’s Meg, Customer Service Manager and newest addition to Scrapblog.  What a wonderful whirlwind of a week it’s been!  I’m loving working with the Scrapblog team to answer any questions you may have, work out printing issues, and just spread the Scrapblog love.

I have the honor of picking the Friday Five this week, and boy was that a tough decision! Rebecca isn’t kidding when she says there are just SO many creative Scrapblogs out there.  After much deliberation, here are my picks for this week.  I know you’ll love them as much as I did!

Scrapblog:Dreamland
Author: alba
I truly felt like I was walking through a dreamland looking at her gorgeous photos and creative layout!

Scrapblog:borboleta azul
Author: kaqui
This is one of my favorites with her use of beautiful and unique graphics and multidimensional sticker layering. Check out her other Scrapblogs for more of her work.

Scrapblog:  Tealness
Author: fenderette
Her use of such bright, beautiful color is really inspiring. I love the original collages, too!

Scrapblog:Victorian Christmas
Author: teenkabell
Teenkabell’s old-timey Christmas Scrapblog really put me in the holiday spirit. She added some of her own antique style images to recreate the magical mood of Christmastimes past.

Scrapblog: jack first year
Author: llear003
Her adorable photos of her baby boy are a true reflection of a mother’s love. I really love her combination of layered photos and stickers!

Hello Fellow Scrapbloggers!

I am just popping in to say hello and wish all of you in the US a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We are very thankful this year for having the BEST creative community on the web. We are also thankful to have a new team member. Her name is Meg McGuire (isn’t she the cutest ever?) and she has been part of our community here on Scrapblog since we launched almost 2 years ago. We are lucky enough to have her right here in Miami. Take a minute to say hello and welcome her to the Scrapblog team. You will be hearing more from her on the blog as well. Happy Holidays everyone!

Hello Fellow Scrapbloggers!
As I researched for the Friday Five this week, I realized that I wish there were just a few hours more in everyday. I could get lost browsing the pages of all the wonderful scrapblogs created. As anyone knows who has chosen the Friday Five, this is not an easy task! How can you choose just five? Well, I narrowed it down to these five that I’m positive you will enjoy.

Scrapblog: Amazing Alaska
Author: AlohaBailey
I fell in love with the imagery that AlohaBailey creates with her pages. The entire scrapblog feels crisp and clean and refreshing.

Scrapblog: Gardner Family
Author: KrisDKrash
This is one of my favorite themes and her photos are simply wonderful!

Scrapblog: Julie’s 2008
Author: juliezmt
Her beautiful photos are highlighted with wonderful journaling. A great memory for 2008!

Scrapblog: Our Wedding 2004
Author: ali8oa
I have a fascination with black and white scrapblogs! When I stumbled across this one from ali8oa, I really fell in love with the clever way she used stickers and journaling. Each page seems so perfect.

Scrapblog: twins
Author: 4of8
4 of 8 proves to us that she has inherited Octamom’s design skills as she show cases how much the twins have grown. This is the cutest family on the planet!

We welcome you to the Outback created by bublee is simply breath taking! The pictures alone make me want to get on a plane and journey to the Outback.

A personal favorite of mine is My Hometown Area by Ginnymo. Love the vintage photos and the journaling about her town. Takes me back to growing up in Ohio.

Where EVER My Kids Are is a loving tribute from a mom, thinking about her kids that are all now living in different cities.

And the winner of our Challenge 11 is:
Saranda by alba. This scrapblog is all about details. The pictures are stunning and her creativity with each page is marvelous! Congratulations Alba!
