I wanted to take a few moments to tell you about a really sweet new feature we added to Scrapblog today. We have made it much easier to really see what a sticker or background looks like before you click it.
Many of you told us how the small previews were preventing you form appreciating the details of all the cool content, so we wanted to fix that. Now, anytime you hover over an element for a second, it auto-magically expands and shows a gorgeous high resolution version of that element.
Here is what a background looks like when it is expanded,
We hope you find this improvement makes finding the perfect elements for you scrapblog a lot easier.
Have you ever looked up and noticed that a couple of days have passed? You might think it’s the 10th, but the 12th snuck up on you out of nowhere. Where do those days go? We can’t get them back, but where were we when they passed us by? Time seems to work like the fast forward button on a DVD player, you were so busy that you forgot to push play!
Before we know it, it’s Spring, and then Winter….where did the time go? I’ve also noticed that the older one gets, the faster time seems to move. Summer seemed so long when you were a kid, didn’t it? Kids grow up, grandparents age right before your eyes, and when you look back you feel old and worldly (even if you’re not!).
So, in no particular order, here are 5 Scrapblogs to be enjoyed from the past, in the present and for the future:
I love how starrgraphics celebrates Korben’s babyhood by documenting the little joys with whimsical layouts and bright colors. Her unique use of stickers and elements really makes this scrapblog shine.
What a gorgeous, glowing bride Little_m’s mom was! The first time I saw this scrapblog, I thought it was Little_m for a moment. She captures the fairytale wedding perfectly in this all-white album.
Talk about great moments in time! This scrapblog is so inspirational as it records three very shining moments of accomplishment for SherriSue and her friends.
Take a relaxing trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains with jonelly and her family with this scrapblog. This one really inspired me to get out and see more of the US. I love the little anecdotes and stories she added about what happened on her trip.
Her little boy Jack is so cute, I had trouble picking which of her Scrapblogs I wanted to feature. I finally settled on “rockin’ out”, which depicts them having a lazy day at a rock concert just being a family. Hallie’s been named the unnoficial “queen of crop”. Check out her other Scrapblogs to see her great cropping techniques.
We recently became aware of a special way in which scrapblogs were created to improve the quality of life for some amazing kids.
Sharon Duram from The Wish Connection has been creating Scrapblogs to tell the story of each wish that has been granted. Not only do these scrapblogs document the experience for the children, but the printed keepsake books serve as a reminder to the employees granting the wishes, how special these children are to them.
The Wish Connection is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was formed in the fall of 2006 by AT&T employees in San Antonio who wanted to be directly involved in granting the wishes of children who have life-threatening or chronically-debilitating medical conditions. The Wish Connection is truly a unique wish-granting organization.
We are honored and humbled that The Wish Connection has chosen to use Scrapblog to keep the memory of these wishes alive. Thank you Sharon and all the employees of AT&T that make The Wish Connection happen.

Dustin & Katie. She’s a scrapbooker, he’s a bit messy. They are in love. Together, they climb mountains, they cheer on their football team, and they are just really adorable. How do I know all this? Dustin created a Scrapblog for Katie. This year’s Valentine’s Day was destined to be extra special. With a little help from Scrapblog, Dustin’s photobook will be something they will talk about for the rest of their lives.
Thank you Katie & Dustin for letting us be part of your engagement. To show the happy couple some love, click here.
