Just a quick note that our systems will be undergoing some routine maintenance early this Sunday Morning. There may be 30 minutes where you will not be able to access the site. The maintenance will be happening from 1am-7am EST, but the site will still be available the majority of that time.
Hello Scrapbloggers!
Just when you think you can relax and slow down because there are no holidays in site, here comes another one to look forward to! Father’s Day is just around the bend, and we’re already starting to see some Father’s Day projects come through. Creative juices are really flowing, so keep up the good work!
I’ve also seen some really great Scrapblogs created for the user challenges. Everyone really outdoes themselves for the triumph and pride of getting to be the challenge winner. The possibilities are endless, and the amount of beautiful, original work I see is quite impressive! Whether users incorporate the content from the Content Marketplace, or take advantage of the free content we have to offer, the unique Scrapblogs popping up never cease to amaze us. Here are my picks for this week’s impressive Scrapblogs:
Title: Welcome MusicJan
Author: Mommy Victory
I have visions of a great big Scrapblog meetup one day so that we can all get to know each other. Mommy Victory and MusicJan got a head start and cemented their online friendship over lunch.
Looks like they had a lot of fun and started a great friendship in the process! Their experience was nicely documented with awesome layouts and very creative sticker use.
Title: Adoption Profile
Author: Magiedcat
After reading David and Erica’s profile, I’m kinda wishing they would adopt me! What they would do with a vivacious and occasionally sarcastic 28 year old is anyone’s guess…
Nevertheless, I enjoyed reading about their lives, their activities and the fun things they do together. They sound like really fun parents, and any kid out there would be more than glad to have them.
Title: ava and ethan
Author: CandraGeorge
Cute kid alert! This sweet little scrapblog showcases some of the most adorable kids I’ve seen. The layouts are truly delightful and springy, and I love the simple yet elegant layering she used here.
Title: Groovy Kind of Love
Author: Legally_Blonde
This is a super fun scrapblog of “the way they were”. It reminds me of stories my mom used to tell me about her experiences growing up in the 70’s. I love the super creative use of stickers and backgrounds that really make those misty water-colored memories pop.
Title: My Collection Obsession
Author: little_m
Little_m never ceases to impress with her ultra colorful and unique layouts and great eye for color. Her attention to detail is amazing, and one can just imagine how fun her house must be to visit looking at all of the photos of the things she collects.
Everyday we see more and more of you hopping on the Twitter train. We love seeing you share your scrapblogs using Twitter! I thought it would be fun to share with you a little project you can do. Put all that fabulous Scrapblog content to good use by making a custom Twitter background like this:
Step one: Create your Scrapblog page! *TIP* Leave the right side of the page blank of photos or elements because most of the right side will be covered by the main Twitter feed screen.
Step two: Save and Publish your page.
Step three: Export your page as a jpeg. Click File: Export as a Jpeg (see below)
Step four: Change your background on Twitter by choosing “settings” and then design:
Step five: Upload your Jpeg, you may want to try clicking the “tile” check box and click “save changes”
Have fun and show us what your Twitter background looks like!
