Photobooth pictures from BlogHer ‘07

July 28, 2007 | In: BlogHer07 | By Alex

We love Chicago and we enjoyed the BlogHer conference. But most of all, we enjoyed meeting you bloghers! It was a pleasure to meet you at the Grand Ballroom over lunch, at the speaker sessions, in the hallways or in our photobooth, where we had a blast! Here is the first scrapblog of the photobooth pictures and over the next couple of days we’ll be posting the others. We will also post the pictures to Flickr under the tag sbblogher07.

Best wishes to all from the Scrapblog Team at BlogHer ‘07: Carlos, Cindy, Jordan, Caleb and Alex.

Blogher07 Contest Winner!

July 17, 2007 | In: BlogHer07 | By Alex

The Scrapblog - BlogHer contest deadline was last night at midnight and it’s time to announce the winner!

Before announcing the winner, we would like to thank you for the fabulous scrapblogs you created. You told stories of your family and loved ones, vacations you’d taken, honeymoon memories, hobbies and passtimes, favorite places, weddings you’d attended and other good times. In turn, we moved by the stories you told, which many of you shared on your own blogs and websites. We are pleased to have met you here, on your blogs, on your photosharing sites and are truly proud to count you as scrapbloggers.

And now, without further ado, we are extremely pleased to congratulate Crystal for the winning entry! She garnered phenomenal support from her blog’s readers, who in a few short weeks brought her scrapblog over 40,000 views, each of which counted as an entry:

Many of you had plans to attend the BlogHer conference anyway and we hope to see you in Chicago. We’ll be at the conference as well, so please stop by and say hi!

BlogHer07 deadline approaching!

July 11, 2007 | In: BlogHer07 | By Alex

Hurry and post your entry! You just might win a free trip to BlogHer Conference ‘07! That’s right, we’ll be sending the lucky winner to the BlogHer Conference ‘07, to be held in Chicago at the end of July.

We’re tickled pink by all the outstanding submissions we’ve received in our BlogHer07 contest! They’re so creative! All scrapblogs tagged blogher07 get a shot at winning, so now’s the time to create one or many scrapblogs and let your friends know! The more people view your scrapblogs, the more chances you get to win … it’s that simple!

And to get more views, many BlogHers have embedded their scrapblog entries:

Linuxchic caught our attention when she posted her scrapblog to her personal blog.

Lisa Braithwaite embedded a scrapblog about her cats, some of which are huge!

And Dutchblitz embedded her scrapblog in her blog’s sidebar. She got a lot of support from her blogging friends, who all linked to her!

As Cathryn Hrudicka mentions in her blog, we’ve extended our deadline to accomodate new entries.

Remember, the sooner you post, the more views you’ll get and the more chances you’ll have to win!
