How-to create a photo book with Scrapblog™ for under $10

Update! Scrapblog now offers high-quality printed products, including photobooks, postcards and greeting cards. Learn more.

Many of you have been asking about printing your scrapblogs. We are working on it. Meanwhile, here is a crafty solution to create a beautiful album with your scrapblog pages.

I just printed the pages of one of my scrapblogs through Flickr (4×6, matte). I also ordered a 5×7 album from KOLO.com. Assembling the album is quite simple and the result looks much better than most photo books I have ordered online. Better yet, the total cost of the project is $10 plus shipping.

Carlos - great tutorial! I bookmarked it for future reference. It would be very cool though if you could work a revenue sharing deal with Kinkos, or Kodak, CVS, etc to give me a true “one-click and pick up at my local store” option. Would that be worth payng $20 for? Sure it would!

I love how you continue to improve Scrapblog - almost every week you highlight a new way to use it, or a new hit to get more use out of it.

I can even see a business model in the future where very busy people upload their photos to scrapblog and another scrapblogger builds a scrapblog for them (another revenue sharing idea). Everyone wants a scrapblog - not everyine has the time and/or talent to create one - allowing your community to build scropblogs for others (for profit) might be pretty interesting!

Keep on creating. We’ll eat all of the creativity you can provide us!
