Storytelling helps us get to know, understand and connect with each other. Have you noticed some of the most engaging scrapblogs tell stories? Stories inspire, teach, warn, heal, and unify us. They communicate messages simply and memorably. They help us celebrate achievements, recollect tradition, shape behavior and pave the way to the future. Some of the greatest leaders have been storytellers; Winston Churchill, Martin Luther King Jr. and Gandhi told stories to motivate and transform their followers to reach for new heights.

Midge Frazel is an educator specializing in technology. She is the author or co-author of several books for teachers. In addition to her busy techno-life, Midge is also a genealogist and family historian. She contacted us about a book project she has started about storytelling, and may talk about using Scrapblog for storytelling. We couldn’t be happier about this and wish her good luck!

Please visit Midge’s Home Page, her Beyond the Horizon Blog and her Granite in My Blood Blog.

Here’s the great scrapblog she created, “The Mariner and the Medal”, which she may use in her upcoming book:

Please show Midge your support by leaving her an encouraging comment!

Here are some tips on creating scrapblogs that tell stories.
