You asked for it!
Thanks to your feedback, we’ve spent the last few days working on some very exciting features! We’d like to thank you for your requests, you’ve been instrumental in helping us define and prioritize our development in three key areas:
First, you thought we should simplify the invitation process for scrapblogs. So, we included the Plaxo widget in the Builder for you to easily invite your friends from your address book in Plaxo, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo!, AOL, Outlook or from a contact list on your hard drive. To use this, just click on Share in the Builder, Send Invite and then Import Contacts. As easy as 1-2-3!
Next, we updated our use of the Flickr service in two ways. Now, you can search not just your own photos, but everyone’s photos! This is really big news. For one, it will make it easier for you to create a scrapblog of an event where many people took pictures and posted them to Flickr. Also, we think this will help students create school projects where they should illustrate specific topics. Please make sure to respect the Creative Commons license of each picture you select. We also updated our use of Flickr so that you do not need to authenticate each time you open the Builder; once you’ve authorized Flickr, you should remain authorized.
The third new feature which was widely requested was being able to download your scrapblog pages. Well, now you can do so! When you’re in the Builder, click on File and then on Export to JPG and follow the instructions. You will then be able to access your individual scrapblog pages from your hard drive and perhaps print them out or share them on other communities you may belong to.
We hope you’ll enjoy these features!
What are people saying?
I was very happy when I found your site, as it allows me to do many things in a short period time, which is great as the rest of my time is filled with a non-stop 2 year old.
My one request, which I see by the about post has been answered in allowing us to be able to download our scrapblog pages.
I guess, what I am writing to say or ask if you have in the works of being able to save / export a much higher resolution. Or if it would be possible to have the option to save in standard scrapbooking sizes i.e. 12 x 12, 8 x 8…
To be honest, I would even be willing to pay a monthly subscription. Your program, allows me to do more then some of (I might add) very expensive programs that I have sitting on my hard drive atm.
I enjoy the already made layouts, the option to change and the ease in which it all happens…which allows me to scrapbook, which these days I have very little precious time to do.
Long winded, but I hope that helps with the development.
yep - allow us to download in a much higher resolution . And to change the Image/Canvas Size .. And what´s up with the Zoom ?? It´s not working very well..
Otherwise I love the ScrapBlog concept

This is one of the coolest sites I have ever used.
Its like ‘creativity for dummies’ (like myself) :o)
Is it possible to have an offline version of scrapblog using AIR (Adobe Integrated Runtime)?
I believe its not very hard to convert Flex applications into AIR.
The offline version need not have all the editing features (e.g. props etc) as online one (so that people still access the online version).
But as leat we get the ability to view the albums offline.
