Alex is moving up… bitter/sweet
It is sad to see Alex leave Scrapblog. He knows more about social media than anyone else here in Miami. Since Alex joined Scrapblog a year ago, he has become a social media professor at the University of Miami. He has also organized the only two Barcamp events in Miami (the last one had over 300 attendees). We always encouraged and supported all these extra-curricular activities. Alex’s increasing exposure in the tech-scene in Miami and elsewhere has led him to new opportunities that he has decided to pursue. As bitter as it is to see Alex leave our day-to-day, it is sweet to see a good friend and colleague move up.
Alex: We wish you the best in everything you are doing. I look forward continue collaborating with you.

Is indeed sad… (I didn’t like the word bitter, you all’ll have to excuse me…) Alex was so patient and helpfull when I first started here, but it is understandable that talented people have to move on in life….
Alex: we wish you all the best, you deserve success in life in all its areas…just hope to be able to follow your work and get a visit from you here from time to time!!! (I’m, of course, avid fan of yours at Flickr, you are one of the most talented photgraphers I have ever *met* in my life!)
