I’ve been so inspired by all the hard work that everyone is putting in for all of these challenges. Challenge02 - Scrap your favorite book challenge was so much fun. Sometimes it feels like reading is becoming a lost pastime. It’s always a pleasure to see summer reading lists posted at the local bookstore. Reading a book invites you to open up your imagination and travel to magical places created by you and the author. In a book, you are the illustrator and the director of the movie.

Those of you that are avid readers did a wonderful job creating scrapblogs for this challenge. Again, we were tasked with the difficult honor of choosing a winner. Before I tell you the winner, here are a couple of Scrapblogs that really stood out:

dr. suess by Raezee I love the detail and the interpretation of the story, the colors are wonderful.

Twilight by Daniel247 is beautiful and subtle and just overall very well done. One of the interesting things about this book is that it was chosen by 11 other Scrapbloggers as a book worth creating a Scrapblog about. Well, now I’m curious and I am going to head over to the bookstore and pick this up!

Little_M’s Scrapblog of Bridget Jones’s Diary of course blew me away. She has such an eye for detail, doesn’t she? Well, she won’t let me chose her as the winner, but I do think she deserves a “gold star” for her magnificent creation!

The Scrapblog that we found most creative is The Secret Life of Bees by Roban. I’ve actually had this book on my list for a few years and now I am compelled to pick it up off the shelf and read it. Boy, we have a lot of reading to do around here. Congratulations Roban, you deserve this honor. Great work!!!
