Friday Five - Let’s go Ballooning!

August 1, 2008 | In: The Friday Five | By Rebecca

Hello! It’s Friday afternoon and I spent part of the morning searching Scrapblog for scrapblogs created about hot air balloon trips. Why would I do that you ask? Well, I thought it would be a fun way to kick off the weekend adventures and inspire you to take some photos of how you spend Saturday & Sunday!
GA Lewis published a scrapblog today called Big Beautiful Balloons and when I saw it I began thinking again about how I want to soar high in the sky in a giant balloon.

MeetKatieBrown did promise me that when I come to her neck of the woods, we would go together. I just need to make that happen one of these weekends. Look at all these beautiful, wonderful, amazing scrapblogs created about adventures “Up, up & away!”.

Ballooning in albuquerque is a perfect start to our ballooning adventure. I love the landing - can you imagine being a car on the road and see a giant hot air balloon come floating by?

Today I saw this scrapblog from GA Lewis scrapblog and you can feel the excitement, can’t you?

AuctionMom also created a colorful and fun journey of her daughter’s ballooning adventure.

penguinmonkey didn’t add much journaling when she created this Scrapblog back in April of 2007. These stunning photos say it all. The thrill of the silver sky! Gorgeous!

Last but not least, Jan Oliver ’s fantastic hot air balloon photography fills each page perfectly. My favorite is page two as the giant balloons begin to rise above the valley. Breathtaking? Isn’t it?

I hope you enjoyed our little pre-weekend ballooning adventure. I look forward to seeing your pages on Monday!
