Look at these great Holiday cards!

The Holiday Season is fast approaching and many people are creating their greeting cards on Scrapblog. It’s a great way to send a beautiful and personal greeting by email to all your friends and family. This is one of the ways I used Scrapblog last year, when the service was still in the Beta (trial) phase. I hadn’t bought cards in time and created holiday greetings on Scrapblog.

What’s really nice is sending the greeting by email … and then sending it by snail mail! Printing is one of the most requested features at Scrapblog and we’ve been working at making this possible. It’s not easy to do, since printing resolution needs to be higher than the resolution on a computer display. However, we’re getting close and are already running tests. We asked some of our community members to create some cards for printing, and we’re very pleased with the quality. Here are some of the cards they’ve created, which we’ve printed and sent to them so they could send to their friends and family:

“Hunt Christmas Card”, by huntsnlove:

“Christmas Apart 2007″, by little_m:

“Card”, by meetkatiebrown:

“Julekort - Christmas card 2007″, by Ninamor:

“Happy Holidays”, by Carlos Garcia (Scrapblog’s CEO):

These cards are truly beautiful, and even more so since they’re personalized with their own photos and words. The printed versions look great, too! We still need to make adjustments to the printing process and hope to be able to offer the service soon next year.

This holiday greeting caught our eye. It’s not a Christmas card, but a header for happygal’s “Christmas Blog”. You can see this beautiful header at her blog here (with Christmas carols!): Happy Fuller Family:
